What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Billing Specialist position at PERRY proTECH?
Become an employee-owner at PERRY proTECH! This person is responsible for the invoicing of General Maintenance Agreement contracts and leases, including new contract set-ups, cancellations, and any contract changes.
About this role:
- Review, set up, change, and cancel maintenance contracts for customer equipment in the ERP System
- Update DocRecord with correct information and move into workflow once your process is complete
- Ensure all contracts that are due to bill that month, bill prior to the end of month close
- Perform pre-bill validation of invoices prior to release to the customer to ensure accurate contract billing
- Run audit processes for correct meter reads, product numbers, and program types as needed
- Administer and assist in the collection process via phone or email for select accounts of the needed meter readings
- Utilize excel spreadsheets as necessary for contract set-up and maintenance processes as well as requested spreadsheet billing
- Research billing discrepancies

- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous billing experience is preferred
