The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing day to day direction to assembly operators in the areas of Safety, Quality and On-Time Delivery of product. Requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure tactical tasks are completed per requirements. Effective coaching and motivational skills are required to drive productivity and goal attainment.
Key Tasks
Provide direction to production employees in the areas of Safety, Quality and Assembly activities.
Demonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching and mentoring to production employees.
Be an active leader in utilizing Kaizen and Lean to improve production processes.
Strong ability to Lead and Follow
Perform daily Safety and Quality audits in designated work centers to ensure compliance.
Manage Daily Improvements activities (5S, Standard Operation Procedure Audits).
Be a visual leader and develop visual signals within work centers.
Demonstrate problem solving techniques.
Be a process owner who can train employees to meet production standards.
Demonstrate good verbal and non-verbal communication.
Perform time-based observations and make improvements to meet tactical goals.
Be an active leader in policy compliance and accountability.
Managing workplace diversity.
Must be data and metric driven.

Your Background
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/training and 1 - 3 years of experience.
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing activities.
Experience and/or exposure to Lean and Continuous Improvement Initiatives such as Kaizen.
Strong commitment to employee development with an emphasis on selection and retention.
Other Qualifications Or Experiences.
