CNC Operator

Permian Enterprises, Ltd. is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our growing manufacturing team in Odessa, Texas. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals with CNC machining experience, preferably in oilfield tubular products and PH6 thread cutting.

If you have experience operating CNC equipment, producing high-quality precision parts, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to speak with you.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and prepare CNC machines for production.
• Operate CNC lathes and threading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cut PH6 threads on both pin and box connections.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust machine settings as necessary.
• Load raw materials and workpieces into CNC machines.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production requirements.
• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Identify defects and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation.
• Keep work areas clean and organized while following all safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE and comply with all company safety policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience cutting PH6 threads (Pin and Box) strongly preferred.
• CNC programming experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with oilfield tubular products, OCTG, or pipe processing is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a pipe yard or oil & gas manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, including:
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Thread gauges
• Measuring equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and production documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
