Position Description:
Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Seattle. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and sophisticated transactions within a nationally recognized practice, alongside collegial attorneys committed to professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Manage various components of real estate transactions, including:
- Lender or borrower-side mortgage and mezzanine financings
- Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Leasing transactions
- Joint venture deals
- Work both independently and collaboratively within teams
- Provide direct client interaction and maintain strong business acumen
- Deliver high-quality legal analysis and written work
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- 3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials and professional references
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice law in Washington
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex financing structures and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Familiarity with joint ventures and leasing for diverse property types
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively
