About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits, vegetables, and proteins as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
- Assist line cooks and kitchen staff during meal service and high-volume periods
- Properly store and label food items following food safety guidelines
- Monitor and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a kitchen, food prep, or restaurant environment preferred
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team-first attitude
