Fence/Barrier Foreman - 100% Travel

Tusco is looking for an experienced Fence/Barrier Security Construction Foreman to lead our field crews on projects across the country.

IMPORTANT:

• 100% TRAVEL IS REQUIRED (You do not have to live in or relocate to Alabama)
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following pre-employment screenings:

This position requires travel to customer and project sites. Foremen should expect to be away from home based on project schedules and must be willing to travel.

About the Role

Our Foremen lead crews responsible for installing perimeter security systems that protect people, critical infrastructure, government and military facilities, data centers, and other high-security environments across the country.

Working under the direction of a Superintendent or Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading daily crew activities, maintaining safety and quality, coordinating work, and keeping projects moving forward.

You'll:

• Lead and direct assigned construction crews and trade professionals
• Coordinate daily work based on project priorities, schedules, and site conditions
• Serve as the primary liaison between the crew and Superintendent
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements
• Read and follow construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members and subcontractors
• Monitor materials, tools, equipment, and crew supplies
• Adjust work plans as needed for weather, deliveries, materials, or personnel
• Communicate project progress and field conditions to project leadership
• Troubleshoot field issues and help resolve conflicts within the crew
• Perform quality checks and ensure work is completed to Tusco standards

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of related construction experience
• At least 1 year of experience installing fencing, perimeter security, barriers, or similar systems
• Proven ability to lead and direct a construction crew
• Strong knowledge of fence installation, including assembly, framing, bracing, hardware, gates, ornamental panels, stretching, and bias cuts on slopes
• Experience with concrete placement, pouring, and finishing
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities and make sound decisions in the field
• Strong understanding of construction processes and job-site safety
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Willingness to travel 100% of time
