Position Details
As a Homemaker, you will support the daily operations of Northwind Assisted Living through a blend of dietary, housekeeping, and resident-centered responsibilities. This role includes assisting with meal and snack preparation, following resident dietary needs and preferences, supporting dining services, maintaining clean and organized kitchenettes, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, cleaning and maintaining resident rooms and household living spaces, changing linens and assisting with laundry services as needed, participating in daily team huddles and resident activities, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional customer service and create meaningful experiences for residents. Additional duties may be assigned to support resident care and household operations.
What You Offer
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
- Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently.
- Ability to follow menus, special diets, and allergy requirements.
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to resident-centered care.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Work Schedule
- 64 hours per biweekly pay period.
- 11:00am-7:30pm
- Includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
