Job Overview:
Performance Pattern & Machine, Inc is looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our shop. This position involves finishing, sanding, fitting, and assembling machined parts so they are clean, accurate, and ready for the customer.
This is not cabinet work or home construction. It is shop-based manufacturing work involving parts made from wood, plastic, and metal. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with their hands, paying attention to detail, and taking pride in producing quality work.
What You’ll Do:
· Sand and finish machined parts
· Fit and assemble components accurately
· Prepare parts for customer delivery
· Work with wood, plastic, and metal materials
· Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
· Inspect parts for fit, finish, and quality
· Keep work area clean and organized
· Work with the team to complete jobs on schedule
What We’re Looking For:
· Good hand skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work with tools and shop equipment
· Ability to read a tape measure, prints, or shop instructions is a plus
· Experience in woodworking, assembly, manufacturing, finishing, or related shop work is helpful
· Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
· Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the day
