Entry-Level CNC Machinist (Paid Training Provided)

Performance Pattern & Machine, Inc. is looking for a motivated individual who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. No machining experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Learn

You'll receive hands-on training in:

• Operating CNC machining centers
• Reading blueprints and engineering drawings
• Measuring parts with precision measuring tools
• Loading materials and changing tools
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following safety and quality procedures
• Basic machine setup and inspection

As your skills grow, you'll have opportunities to learn:

• CNC machine setup
• CAD/CAM programming
• 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining
• Advanced machining techniques
• Production planning and process improvement

What We're Looking For

You do not need machining experience. We're looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Shows up on time and is dependable
• Wants to learn new skills
• Pays attention to detail
• Works well as part of a team
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

CAREER PATH

90-day review: up to $1/hour increase based on attendance, attitude and learning.

12 months: $23-$26/hour operating independently

2-3 years: $28-$35 / hour as a setup technician

Programmers: Starting at $35/hour and up based on skills and responsibility

Mechanical aptitude, experience with tools, automotive work, farm equipment, woodworking, or hobbies involving building and repairing things are a plus—but not required.
