Oversee the supervisory practices of all fleet maintenance activities at the local facility maintaining work orders and maintenance billing practices. This position has supervisory responsibility for all in-house fleet activities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervisory accountability over billing and maintenance practices within the fleet. Develop and maintain guidance and counsel to complete repairs in a timely manner
- Insuring proper billing practices against work assignments completed by 3rd party.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance of all State, Federal and Company standards
- Ensure facility remains compliant with fleet maintenance policies and corporate purchasing guidelines
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with 3rd party to improve planning and productivity
- Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party maintenance vendors on repairs outsourced for timely return to service operations
- Responsible for the tire program; tire casing asset management
- Maintain valid Commercial Class A driver's license and DOT medical certification
- Develop and maintain close relationship with Routing and the communication to the Sales team
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent ExperienceRequired Education: 1 - 3 years
