Fleet Supervisor

Position Purpose:

Oversee the supervisory practices of all fleet maintenance activities at the local facility maintaining work orders and maintenance billing practices. This position has supervisory responsibility for all in-house fleet activities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervisory accountability over billing and maintenance practices within the fleet. Develop and maintain guidance and counsel to complete repairs in a timely manner
• Insuring proper billing practices against work assignments completed by 3rd party.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance of all State, Federal and Company standards
• Ensure facility remains compliant with fleet maintenance policies and corporate purchasing guidelines
• Develop and maintain a close working relationship with 3rd party to improve planning and productivity
• Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party maintenance vendors on repairs outsourced for timely return to service operations
• Responsible for the tire program; tire casing asset management
• Maintain valid Commercial Class A driver's license and DOT medical certification
• Develop and maintain close relationship with Routing and the communication to the Sales team
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Required Education: 1 - 3 years
Fleet Shop or Heavy Equipment Mechnical Environment
