We are seeking a Router to join our Transportation team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while maintaining safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery routes. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every decision impacts operations.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, routing, or a related field
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
This is an in-office position in Augusta, Maine
Compensation
$20-$26/hr DOE

- Analyze route efficiency, delivery times, mileage, and service requirements
- Utilize routing software and transportation systems to build and maintain route plans
- Ensure routes comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate customer delivery information, time windows, service requirements, and route data
- Generate route reports, manifests, maps, and driver instructions
- Review prior-day routing performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency
- Partner with Transportation, Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and Drivers to resolve routing and service challenges
- Support key performance metrics related to cost, service, productivity, and safety
