We're currently seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support operations at a 500 bed, Class A student housing high-rise near the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI.
This is a true right-hand-to-the-GM role with immediate impact during turn season. You’ll help drive leasing performance, resident experience, maintenance workflow, vendor coordination, and day-to-day team execution in a fast-moving environment. The team is looking for someone already on Oahu who can step in quickly and be effective from day one.

Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations for a 500 bed student housing community, partnering closely with the General Manager
- Help drive leasing performance and execution during peak turn and move-in season
- Oversee resident relations and assist with escalations to ensure strong service and retention
- Coordinate maintenance work order flow and vendor scheduling to keep operations moving smoothly
- Support on-site team leadership, accountability, and operational follow-through
Qualifications
- 2 years of residential property management experience (student housing strongly preferred but not required)
- Ability to operate with urgency during turn, including move-outs, unit readiness, and late-stage leasing
- Prior assistant manager, supervisor, or team-lead experience preferred
- Comfort working cross-functionally with leasing, maintenance, and vendors in a hands-on environment
- Experience with property management software (Entrata a plus)
Perks
- Total compensation range of approximately $56,000 to $65,000, including base pay plus bonus potential (top end includes up to about $65,000 all-in with team leasing bonuses)
