We’re partnering with a well-established construction management and technology consulting client to hire an Onsite Construction Safety Specialist for a complex commercial project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional with strong construction experience who wants to play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive jobsite environment. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of OSHA regulations, construction safety best practices, and the ability to work closely with project teams, field supervision, contractors, and client stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
- Review job hazards and support job safety analysis discussions.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support safety training, workshops, and awareness efforts for project teams and contractors.
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Recommend corrective actions and help strengthen site-specific safety programs.
- Partner with project leadership to ensure safety is integrated into planning and execution.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting.
- Help facilitate third-party safety reviews and agency interactions as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of health and safety experience in construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
- CSP, CHST, or similar certification preferred.
- Experience with incident investigation and reporting preferred.
