What are the responsibilities and job description for the TIG Welder position at PeopleShare?
Up to $35/Hour for a TIG Welder!
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with OT available!
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and welding process specifications.
*
Perform TIG welding on various metals (typically stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel).
*
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
*
Inspect and prepare materials prior to welding.
*
Measure and cut metal parts to required specifications using hand tools, torches, or plasma cutters.
*
Maintain weld quality by checking for defects, measuring tolerances, and conducting visual inspections.
*
Use grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools to smooth and clean welded surfaces.
*
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures at all times.
*
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
*
Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
*
Collaborate with other team members in the fabrication and assembly process.
Requirements:
*
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
*
Proven experience as a TIG welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
*
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
*
Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
*
Ability to weld in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
*
Physical stamina and dexterity – ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
