Licensed Commercial Insurance AgentVero Beach, FLWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Commercial Insurance Agent to join our Georgia Pines: Vero Beach team, which has proudly served Indian River County and surrounding Florida communities for over 25 years.This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, delivering expert guidance, performing risk assessments, making policy recommendations, and ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and carrier-specific requirements while maintaining full compliance with agency and state regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess business clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance products (general liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, property, professional liability, etc.).Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-up.Prepare quotes, proposals, and renewal packages using carrier systems and agency management software.Process new business applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and certificates of insurance accurately and efficiently.Serve as the liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve underwriting, claims, and billing inquiries.Maintain detailed documentation within the agency management system.Stay up to date on product offerings, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.Ensure compliance with state regulations, continuing education, and licensing requirements.Participate in cross-selling and upselling efforts to expand client coverage.Meet or exceed performance goals and client satisfaction metrics.Required QualificationsActive Florida Property & Casualty Insurance LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience in commercial lines insuranceStrong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting requirementsExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in agency management systems (Applied Epic, AMS360) and quoting platformsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in an independent insurance agency settingFamiliarity with CRM tools and digital communication platformsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement planEmployer-paid group life insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysPaid bereavement leaveGym membership reimbursementEmployee referral bonusIND30
