- Candidates must be capable of working on high-value, complex machinery (multi-million-dollar equipment) and demonstrate real, practical experience—not just basic mechanical work.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery
- Perform alignment, rigging, conveyor work, bearing replacement, and gearbox repair
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawing
- Complete welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs
- 4 years of millwright experience (equivalent to a union millwright apprenticeship)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, common sense, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to read schematics and perform alignment work (laser alignment can be trained)
- Willingness to learn specialized equipment like 9-axis machines, CNCs, and laser systems
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Able to work in industrial environments and lift heavy materials
- Dependable transportation preferred
