PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking experienced Electrical Foremen for a long-term Mission Critical Data Center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a leadership role with strong earning potential and consistent overtime.

Schedule: 5/10s 1/8 (5 days at 10 hours and 1 day at 8 hours)
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Per Diem: $135/day worked
Parking: On-site

POSITION OVERVIEW
Lead electrical crews on a data center project, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
• Assign daily tasks and manage manpower
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Oversee installation of power distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, PDUs, conduit, and cable tray
• Coordinate work in data halls and electrical rooms
• Enforce OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E safety standards
• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance
• Track production, materials, and progress
• Support inspections, testing, and project closeout

• REQUIREMENTS

  • 6 years of commercial electrical experience
  • 2 years in a Foreman or Lead role preferred
  • Data center/mission critical experience preferred
  • Valid Iowa Electrical License or reciprocal state license
  • OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • Ability to lead crews and read plans
  • Standard hand and power tools
  • Reliable transportation
