PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and accountability. We’re hiring a skilled Superintendent to assist contractors from the ground up in Spartanburg, SC, and the surrounding areas.

We need professionals with construction-related experience, dedication to safety, & previous Superintendent experience on large projects. In this full-time role, you'll earn up to $46 an hour based on experience, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits.

Key Responsibilities as a Superintendent, you’ll oversee all phases of this high-profile construction project, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion. You will:

• Lead and manage subcontractors across all project stages.
• Oversee construction phases, ensuring quality control and safety compliance.
• Administer site safety programs and represent the company in customer service matters.
• Be the technical expert on construction methods, including concrete, masonry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and more.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of construction management experience across various asset classes
• Hands-on expertise in commercial interior buildouts
• Experience in multi-story construction preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR relevant work experience in projects like commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, or multifamily developments.
• OSHA 30-Hour Training (required)
• LEED project experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Office, SAGE 300 CRE).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, safety protocols, and modern technology
• Valid driver’s license required

Additional Details

• Tools: Candidates should bring their own standard hand tools as applicable.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the Commercial or Industrial fields (required)
• Position will require a drug screen & Background check

The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $46/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
