Our client is a chiropractic and physical rehabilitation clinic headquartered in Columbus, Mississippi. Our team focuses on helping patients improve movement, restore function, and improve quality of life through conservative, non-surgical care approaches.
We work with individuals experiencing chronic joint pain, neck pain, back pain, mobility limitations, reduced flexibility, and lifestyle-related musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus is helping patients improve function, mobility, and overall quality of life while reducing dependence on invasive procedures and short-term symptom-based solutions.
Our client plans to continue expanding throughout the Southeast over the coming years. The Nurse Practitioner selected for this role will play an important part in helping develop and expand medical services while creating opportunities for leadership, professional development, and long-term career growth within the organization.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform medical evaluations and orthopedic assessments
- Review patient history, imaging, and clinical findings
- Develop and modify treatment recommendations based on patient progress
- Administer trigger point injections and joint injections when appropriate
- Collaborate with chiropractors, rehabilitation staff, and case management on patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress, compliance, and clinical outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment recommendations, expectations, and progression through care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to company standards
- Ensure patient care aligns with a prevention- and function-focused philosophy rather than a symptom-focused approach
- Oversee and support Medical Assistants as needed
- Participate in community outreach, patient education, and relationship-building initiatives
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinical environment
- Assist in the development and implementation of new medical services as the clinic expands

Clinical Environment
This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and refine medical systems within a growing private practice environment. Leadership values provider input and collaboration in the development of clinical systems and patient care processes. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with leadership to help establish workflows, protocols, communication systems, and collaborative treatment approaches that support the clinic’s long-term integrated medical vision.
Providers are supported by an established chiropractic, rehabilitation, case management, and administrative team with strong operational infrastructure already in place.
The clinic follows clearly defined treatment and prescribing protocols. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physician partners and clinic leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable Mississippi laws and regulations governing advanced practice nursing. This position does not involve long-term narcotic management or management of complex psychiatric medications.
The Nurse Practitioner will be expected to maintain all licenses, certifications, and authorizations required under Mississippi law to perform the clinical services offered by the clinic.

Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Mississippi
- Current national board certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Active NPI number
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Eligible for coverage under the clinic’s malpractice insurance policy
- Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Previous private practice experience preferred
- Experience performing trigger point or joint injections preferred
- Experience in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, pain management, sports medicine, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or related clinical settings preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
