Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse/Operations Manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the successful execution of our projects. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize safety, and lead our team effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate and manage crews for various projects and daily operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
- Project Leadership: Act as the foreman on all commercial projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot warehouse equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Facility Maintenance: Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the facility to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts as needed for various warehouse tasks.
- Planning and Independence: Work independently, with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Multi-tasking and Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Punctuality and Self-Motivation: Be punctual and self-motivated, setting an example for the team.
Work Schedule
- Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (end time may vary depending on completion of work).
- Overtime: Some overtime may be required.
- Saturdays: Occasional work on Saturdays may be necessary.
