Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Thomson within the Lumber industry. 

Wood Stacker Job Summary:

• $17.00 
• 2nd shift: 5pm-5am Mon-Fri
• Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed.
• Collect sticks into a box from bundles getting de-sticked.
• Lay sticks down between layers of bundles going to the kiln.
• Wrap and bank finished bundles per packaging instructions.
• Check stamp is correct for material and legible and alert Stacker Operator of errors.
• Pull back the layers of wood as they come across the hoist to keep layers tight and in line.
• Attend all training sessions and safety meetings.

Wood Stacker Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED
• Ability to learn about treatments, lumber and plywood sizes, grades, and species.
• Ability to learn package sizes for all products.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
