Machine Operators

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent engine manufacturer in the Byron Center area, is seeking machine operators to join their team!  

Overview:

• 1st shift: 4am - 2pm. Pay: $16.50, $2 attendance bonus
• 2nd shift: 2pm-12am Pay: $18, $2 attendance bonus
• 3rd shift: 10pm-6am. Pay: $18, $2 attendance bonus.

**Mandatory overtime for all shifts

Responsibilities:

• Ensures adequate supply of component stock is at station to run machines
• Lifting, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist in assembly, forming, fitting, and welding
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock and work in process
• Actively monitors the condition of product being produced
• Accurately measures and checks parts for compliance
• Picks up, cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment after use
• Fills out production reports and labels product as needed

Qualifications:

• Able to read, write, and compute simple arithmetic.
• Able to stand for the entire shift.
• Able to use both hands and lift 50 pounds.
• Able to perform tasks requiring repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting, pushing, and reaching.
