Inside Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to support daily operations at a growing distribution facility in Lebanon, Indiana. This entry-level role is responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, answering questions, and helping maintain an organized and efficient store environment.

Essential Functions

Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Assist walk-in and call-in customers with product selection, pricing, and order placement
• Answer customer questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare quotes, sales orders, invoices, and customer returns
• Proactively follow up on quotes, open orders, and customer inquiries
• Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and applications
• Maintain professional communication with customers in person, by phone, and via email

Store & Operational Support

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store and work environment
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and organizing inventory
• Support order processing and delivery coordination as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
• Participate in ongoing product and process training
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of customer service, retail, warehouse, or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Mechanical or technical aptitude preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn company systems and processes (ERP experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and dependable with strong attendance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
