As a Client Experience Associate, your primary responsibility will be to greet and welcome clients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and reassuring first touchpoint in their behavioral health journey. You will assist with check-ins and client navigation in the behavioral health environment. This role requires you to have a warm demeanor, compassionate understanding, and a firm grasp on a variety of community behavioral health sevices.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Welcome clients and their families with warm and friendly demeanor.
2. Provide clear, accurate directions to clients for various services within the facility.
3. Assist clients with the check-in process as required.
4. Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting reception area.
5. Collaborate with other behavioral health staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.
6. Performs other duties assigned including participation in all safety programs, which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
Qualifications:
* Proven customer service experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
* Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
* Proficient in clerical tasks such as scheduling and confirming client appointments via phone.
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time when working in entrances
* Ability to exhibit empathy when dealing with upset clients
* Strong multitasking skills
* Ability to work independently
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have one year of clerical and/or customer service experience, preferably in a medical, dental, optometry or mental health office.
