The Residential Specialist is a direct care position working with adults diagnosed with a psychological disorder in a residential setting. The primary responsibility is to administer/distribute medications to residents. Report any unusual symptoms or behaviors and evaluate responses of residents to medications given. Treat minor illnesses or injuries. Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school graduate or GED required. 1-3 years driving experience preferred. CDL preferred or willing to obtain if hired. Clean driving record with annual record review. The selected candidate must be team oriented, and able to work well independently
Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
