CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) Inspector

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST, Overtime may be required on weekends

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) Inspector to perform visual inspection of soldering and conformal coating on electronic assemblies.
- This role requires adherence to industry standards, including IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001, ensuring all products meet stringent quality and manufacturing requirements.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in solder inspection, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-precision environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of circuit card assemblies (CCAs), including solder joints (SMT and through-hole) and conformal coating, in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
- Utilize microscopes for extended periods (up to 10 hours) to ensure detailed and accurate inspections.
- Interpret engineering drawings, inspection instructions, and technical documentation to verify product compliance.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales to support inspection activities.
- Ensure 100% inspection of assemblies to meet manufacturing, quality, and industry standards.
- Accurately document inspection results and identify defects or non-conformances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with revision control, work instructions, and applicable reference standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in visual inspection of solder connections (SMT and through-hole) in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
- Minimum 1 year of experience inspecting conformal coating on electronic assemblies.
- Proven ability to work under a microscope for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
- Ability to remain seated at a workstation for prolonged durations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and process compliance.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and inspection documentation.
- Familiarity with IPC standards, revision control processes, and work instructions.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with cross-functional teams regarding quality concerns.
Pay: $22.82 - $28.00 per hour
