Essential Responsibilities
- Perform precision soldering of small electronic components onto circuit card assemblies (CCA).
- Follow detailed technical work instructions, schematics, and assembly documentation.
- Assemble circuit boards and electronic modules used in military avionics systems.
- Operate automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment that captures 3D images to identify potential defects.
- Review inspection results and perform rework or corrections as required.
- Maintain high attention to detail while working with small and delicate electronic components.
- Perform electronic assembly tasks including wiring, component placement, and soldering.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on soldering experience with electronic components or circuit boards.
- Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Ability to work with small precision components requiring strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift/move materials up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Experience assembling circuit card assemblies (CCA) or printed circuit boards (PCB).
- Experience working in electronics or avionics manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment.
- Experience performing electronic rework and solder repair.
- Proficient using computers to review work instructions and inspection results.
- Prior experience working in team-based manufacturing environments.
- Candidates must successfully complete a hands-on soldering test prior to interview consideration.
