This role is responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies, analyzing freight costs, and supporting the sales team with accurate and timely rate quotations. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop pricing for international air, ocean, and ground freight services
- Prepare and deliver accurate rate quotations in response to RFQs (Requests for Quotation)
- Maintain and update carrier rate databases and pricing tools
- Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate competitive rates
- Monitor market trends, capacity, and fuel surcharges to ensure pricing accuracy
- Support sales and business development teams with pricing strategies and insights
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or pricing/analyst roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Familiarity with freight rate structures and Incoterms is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
