This role is responsible for coordinating air and ocean import freight movements, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage international air and ocean import shipments from origin through final delivery
- Prepare and review import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and arrival notices
- Ensure compliance with U.S. import regulations and international shipping requirements
- Communicate with carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and customers to ensure timely cargo movement
- Arrange bookings with airlines and ocean carriers, coordinating pickup and delivery schedules
- Track and trace shipments, providing updates and resolving delays, customs holds, or clearance issues
- Work closely with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s transportation management system (TMS)
- Handle customer inquiries and provide high-quality service and solutions
- Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, accounting, and sales
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, specifically in air and/or ocean imports
- Strong knowledge of import documentation and international shipping procedures
- Experience with U.S. import regulations and customs clearance processes preferred
- Familiarity with Incoterms and global trade practices
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
