Job description:People First Employment is looking for a 2nd shift Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team!Our partner distributes thousands of products to pet and feed stores, kennels, groomers, trainers, shelters and veterinarians throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. This is a fast-paced and physical position. We require at least 3 years of experience in the following equipment: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down single forklift and Stand-on Electric Pallet Jack.Schedule: 2nd shift Mon -Thur 2pm-11:30pm & Fridays 12noon-4:00pmOT as Needed(Training schedule during 1st shift)Pay: $20.00 hrResponsibilities :Process required documents with accuracy within PDC safety and performance requirements.Process Inbound orders using RF technology and following PDC standard operation proceduresReceive and stock inbound orders while noting the quantity and any discrepancies in quantities as well as recording any damages.Verify inventory accuracy to make sure it’s the right part and the right quantityUnload or load trailers, verify bills of lading, and check for transit damage.Monitor and report equipment damages and operational issues to Team Leader.Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all areas of the RDC / PDC.Train other associates and new hires when necessary.Observe all safety rules, quality standards, and follow standard operating procedures for assigned tasks.Skills : Cherry Picking, Pallet Jack Operation, Reach Truck Operation, Sit Down Forklifts, Inventory, RF Scanner, Experienced 3 yearsThe essential functions of this role include :working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one timeworking up to 10 hrs of overtime per weekworking weekendsTake the next step in your career and apply to join our team today or call our office at (909)233-7199.Company DescriptionSpecializing in the placement of professionals in the logistics & manufacturing world, People First Employment can help you find the job you need to get to the next level!
