What You’ll Do
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities
- Actively seek out new business categories and growth opportunities
- Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with clients and key decision‑makers
- Manage your territory, schedule, and travel to maximize client engagement
- Develop and deliver customized advertising proposals and presentations
- Collaborate with internal creative, operations, charting, and administrative teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging media products
What You Bring
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
• Strong experience managing and growing customer relationships
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to adapt and succeed in a competitive, fast‑moving environment
• Experience selling digital or programmatic local media is a plus
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years of sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, or related industries
• Strong understanding of the local market (Southern CT)
• Full proficiency across the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
