Position: Plano Vehicle Registrations Coordinator
Location: Plano, TX
Reports To: Vehicle Lifecycle Manager
Description
The Penske Vehicle Delivery Center and Lifecycle teams are responsible for the tracking, preparation, registration, exchange, and disposal of Toyota employee lease vehicles as well as company cars. A variety of computer applications and software is utilized to ensure compliance with State and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations, as well as Toyota employee policies
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with initial registration and registration renewal of company car and employee lease vehicles (requires coordination with employees, dealerships, vendors, and DMVs)
- Ensure all vehicle registration information is properly tracked in the company car database
- Understand the difference between vehicle types to ensure registration is tracked accurately in the company car database (demos and company cars vs employee leases)
- Provide education to Toyota team members on overall registration processes such as what documents are needed, and what our team will handle to support their needs vs what is expected of the employee
- Perform daily task of review and approval of online employee registration submissions
- Provide instruction and assistance to employees moving from state to state with transferring their vehicle registration to the new state
- Keep team member Personally Identifiable Information (PII) private and secure
Customer Service / Communications:
- Answer employee questions via phone, email or in person while displaying excellent customer service skills and an overall understanding of the lease benefit program
- Ensure communications from employees are addressed quickly and accurately, or transferred to the appropriate party to answer
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Excellent customer service skills; strong verbal and written communication
- Must be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
- High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to navigate challenging business environments while quickly assimilating to diverse client, and management team
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
