This role includes preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, delivering high-quality finishes, and maintaining painting equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient with tools such as spray guns, sanders, and buffers, and have a strong eye for detail.

The Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and maintaining interior and exterior surfaces of buildings to ensure a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment to ensure maximum production of the dealership.

Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, fill dents, and mask surfaces to create a flawless base for painting.
- Paint Mixing & Matching: Accurately mix and match paint colors to meet manufacturer specifications and desired finishes.
- Application: Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns, airbrushes, and other tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections; perform touch-ups or rework as needed.
- Equipment Care: Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure safe operation of all painting equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations when handling paints and solvents.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials, time, and project details.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow painters, maintenance staff, and management to complete projects efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues with paint application, materials, or equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Education and Experience
High School graduate. Previous maintenance experience. Strong ability for on the job training. General Construction background desired.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates degree or equivalent; and three to five year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Automotive dealership facility experience.
Electrical and electronic principles.
Blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)
Must be certified in both Electrical and HVAC repair
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Certification of taking a 20 Hour OSHA class
Fork Lift certification
Aerial Lift Certification
