The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting and finishing tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance of our apartment complex. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Painting and Finishing:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes, and priming.
- Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure paint and finishes are applied evenly and meet quality standards.
- Surface Maintenance:
- Repair and maintain painted surfaces, including touch-ups and color matching.
- Remove old paint, graffiti, or stains as necessary.
- Equipment and Material Management:
- Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment.
- Manage inventory of painting supplies, including ordering materials as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and company policies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents to minimize disruptions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a professional painter, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Proficient in various painting techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing methods.
- Ability to match colors and mix paints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments (indoor and outdoor).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Full-time position with standard working hours; occasional overtime may be required.
- Work involves physical labor, including standing, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy materials.
- Exposure to paint fumes, solvents, and other chemicals; proper protective equipment will be provided.
