Pennco Tech is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee a variety of facility maintenance projects while managing a dedicated team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead maintenance staff across multiple functional areas
- Oversee projects including light electrical, plumbing, flooring, framing, and general repairs
- Manage janitorial operations, ensuring cleanliness of bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment with accuracy and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints and develop project estimates
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
- Coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, repairs, and maintenance practices
- Ability to read blueprints and prepare project estimates
- Proficiency with computer tools, including email and advanced software applications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
