Electrician / Maintenance Specialist
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team. This person will be responsible to provide top quality electrical maintenance service for our employee-owned manufacturing company.

Our electricians play a vital role in keeping our facilities and machines operating safely and efficiently. Penn United Technologies currently employs over 650 people in our employee-owned precision manufacturing company, located about 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh in Butler County.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, lighting and wiring in all company buildings
- Install sub panels, bend/ run conduit, pull wire and terminate
- Install/repair electrical components in machinery
- Ensure all routine and scheduled work on electrical equipment is completed on time and documented
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner according to OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years industrial electrician experience with a background in industrial/electrical wiring
- Prior experience working with 480v three-phase wiring
- Must be familiar with using equipment such a multimeter and a Megger insulation tester
- Electronics background is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures (NEC codes) related to electrical work.
- Technical training related to industrial electricity strongly preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
