PURPOSE OF JOB : Operate multiple communication, safety, alarm and alert systems. Handle emergency medical codes and various emergency situations in accordance with departmental and hospital policy and procedures.

PURPOSE OF JOB : Operate multiple communication, safety, alarm and alert systems. Handle emergency medical codes and various emergency situations in accordance with departmental and hospital policy and procedures.
Essential Functions
- Answer all incoming calls and interdepartmental calls to the hospital switchboard according to the policy and procedure.
- Has working knowledge of hospital code and emergency protocols and executes procedures according to the Telecommunication policies.
- Monitor and respond to hospital Security/Safety alarm systems, and critical e-mail alerts.
- Maintain and update Associate On-call Schedules. Review Physician on-all schedules through Tiger Schedule.
- Respond in a professional manner to all visitor and inquiry issues in the absence of information desk volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: Minimum, High School Degree
- Experience: Will provide training
- Other Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills, Computer and Multi-tasking Skills.
