Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS :
- PURPOSE OF JOB : A non-exempt clinical position responsible for performing a variety of duties in an out-patient setting where you will be assisting providers with patient care and managing clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Serves as a liaison to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies and other members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (or higher level equivalent.
- OR 2 years experience working as a MA may be considered in lieu or MA program completion
- 1 years working as a Front Desk Coordinator/ Clinical Support Specialist at any Penn Medicine entity may be considered in lieu of MA program completion.
- Additional Requirements:
- BLS/ CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association
- Medical Assistant Certification (Required within 90 days of hire)
