Secondary Operator

• Operate Machines: Run secondary equipment such as drill presses, tapping units, spot welders, or trim presses.
• Inspect Parts: Check finished parts for visual defects, rough edges, or misalignments.
• Measure Components: Use tools like calipers or gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Sort and Pack: Trim excess material, sort good items, and pack parts into containers.
• Keep Records: Log production counts, track scrap, and fill out quality paperwork.
• Maintain Safety: Keep the work area clean and follow plant safety rules.
• Experience: Past work in a factory or warehouse setting is helpful.

• Physical Skills: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to stand for long shifts.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed.
• Attention to Detail: Focus on spotting flaws and measuring parts accurately
