Haas CNC Setup Machinist (Mills & Lathes)

Picture your shift starting in a clean, organized cell. You review the print, pick the right cutters, load the program, and bring the machine online. Whether it's a Haas VMC or a Haas turning center, you dial in tool and work offsets, make light edits at the control, and keep tooling maintained so production flows smoothly. Throughout the day, you stay neat and methodical—because great parts start with great housekeeping.

What you'll handle

• Set up and run Haas CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and apply engineering drawings/prints
• Select appropriate tooling
• Load programs at the control
• Adjust tool/work offsets as needed
• Maintain and care for tooling
• Perform light program edits
• Keep an orderly, well‑maintained work area
  
  

Proficiency you'll bring

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• G-code
• M-code
• CNC machine setup and changeovers
  
  

Equipment you’ll work with

• Haas CNC Mills: 3–4 axis VMC
• Haas CNC Lathes: 2–4 axis
  
  

Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6AM – 4PM
• 2nd Shift: 4PM – 1AM
