Job Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition while providing superior customer service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver windows, doors, and other items as part of a 2-man team.
- Ensure that orders are loaded safely and in a manner that will prevent damage in transit
- Drive truck over established route to deliver Pella product to jobsites and service storage warehouses
- Perform daily inspection of assigned company vehicle and document in accordance with DOT requirements
- Ensure our Pella customers’ satisfaction
- Typical Hours: Monday - Friday around 8-12 hours each day
- A clean driving record is REQUIRED
- Must be dependable, neat in appearance, a good listener, and personable with good communication skills for direct customer contact.
- Must be able to lift/move heavy loads (100 lbs.) for customer deliveries throughout the day.
- Must be able to comply with the DOT hours of service regulations.
- 1 year of experience as a Delivery Driver in a similar position preferred.
