What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Specialist position at Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority?
The Purchasing Specialist assists the Director of Purchasing and Project Management with activities pertaining to the purchase and distribution of equipment, vehicles/vehicle parts, machinery, furniture, fuel, lubricants, supplies, and services. Assists with other administrative duties when needed.

- Associate Degree in Business Administration or Project Management, or related field preferred
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement or transit operations preferred
- Experience with publicsector procurement and federally funded projects preferred

- Occasional travel to other PDRTA offices, local/overnight outoftown travel is required.
- Must be flexible with regard to covering varied work hours/shifts.
