Position Summary
PMC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric outpatient team. This role focuses on clinic-based pediatric speech and language services, supporting children with speech, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing needs.
SLPAs work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement individualized treatment plans in a supportive, family-centered environment.
Clinical Fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric speech and language evaluations and treatments
- Address receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing
- Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when appropriate
- Educate families on home programs and carryover strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team
Qualifications
- SLP: Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- SLP: CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) in progress
- SLPA: Graduation from an accredited SLPA program (as applicable)
- Active Maryland license or ability to obtain
- Pediatric therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills
Schedule & Location
- Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN
- Monday–Friday, flexible
- Hagerstown or Frederick, MD locations
