Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with pediatrics, a commitment to a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy, and a deep understanding of child development. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative environment, providing evidence-based care that empowers families and fosters authentic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients with a focus on feeding, swallowing, and developmental communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a responsive-based approach, tailored to each child’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OT/PT/SLP, and other specialists, to provide integrated care.
- Provide parent and caregiver education, coaching, and support to enhance therapy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to community outreach, playgroups, and educational events to support our mission of increasing access to care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, early intervention, or related fields preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Commitment to a family-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
