Your Role as a Parts Counterperson is to ensure the best possible parts are available to the Toyota and Volvo owner. You will be responsible for the dealership’s investment in parts inventory efficiency. Ensure each customer and vendor is treated in a professional and friendly manner. You will sell parts over the counter or on the phone. In addition to providing parts and accessories to Service and Parts. You will be the primary person responsible for quoting and pulling parts, shipping and receiving.
Shift Type: Full-time, Commission basis
- Flexible shifts Four ten-hour or five eight-hour available!
Compensation: Commission basis – 48k – 68K annually.
Principle Responsibilities
- Use Snap On electronic cataloging to look up parts.
- Work with DealerTrack, DMS and Xtime estimating for billing and inventory management.
- Work with customers and technicians to get correct parts for repairs
- Assist customers with their concerns.
- Answer phones
- Place special order requests for customers
- Follow orders and backorders to insure parts arrive in a timely manner
- Stock inventory
- Keep parts department clean and orderly.
- Perform training as necessary for certifications.
- Shipping and receiving
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.

Qualifications:
Requirements
- 2 years automotive parts counter experience. Dealership experience a plus
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
