Position Summary
As a Beach House Attendant, you serve as the primary point of contact for guests at Pecan Valley Resort. This role combines front-line hospitality with operational support across guest activities, including golf simulators, arcade systems, and water attractions. The position requires a high-energy, detail-oriented individual capable of managing transactions, supporting technical systems, and delivering a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & First Impressions
- Greet all guests promptly and professionally
- Provide clear direction and information regarding resort amenities and activities
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and service-focused environment
Transaction Management
- Accurately process cash and card transactions
- Balance registers and maintain accountability for assigned cash drawers
- Ensure compliance with all payment handling procedures
Access Control
- Monitor and manage guest access to attractions and designated areas
- Enforce resort policies and safety standards consistently
Tech & Gaming Support
- Assist guests with golf simulators, arcade systems, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate when necessary
Guest Concierge Services
- Answer questions, provide recommendations, and assist with bookings or activity participation
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer support
Experience Flow & Problem Solving
- Monitor guest flow and wait times to ensure efficient operations
- Address guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Coordinate with team members to resolve issues and maintain service standards
Environment Upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Beach House areas
- Perform routine checks to ensure equipment and spaces are guest-ready
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic technical proficiency; ability to learn and operate gaming and POS systems
- Clear and professional verbal communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment and transactions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors for limited periods, including rotation to water slide dispatch
