One of the most active and resilient M&A sectors globally, and has built a strong reputation as the go-to advisor for founder-owned and PE-backed businesses in this space.
This is a genuine VP role. You will run deals, own client relationships, and have a direct line to senior leadership. The team is lean and the culture is entrepreneurial. This suits someone who wants real ownership rather than another layer of execution support.
Responsibilities:
- Running M&A processes across sell-side, buy-side, and recapitalisation mandates
- Acting as the senior day-to-day point of contact for clients through live transactions
- Leading financial analysis, valuation work, and deal structuring
- Driving buyer/investor engagement from first contact through to close
- Contributing to new business development and pitching alongside senior bankers
- Developing junior team members
Requirements:
- 5–7 years in M&A advisory, ideally at a boutique or mid-market platform
- Strong transaction execution track record with increasing autonomy over time
- Experience in or strong interest in technology services, IT consulting, software, or professional services M&A
- Polished communicator - comfortable with founders, management teams, and boards
Salary : $230,000 - $270,000
