Pearse Partners is partnering with a leading large-cap Infrastructure fund on a senior hire as they scale their North American investment team in Houston. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced investor to join a best-in-class platform in a high-impact, deal-facing role.
The Role
As a Vice President, you will take a leadership role across the full investment lifecycle — from origination and execution through to asset management — with a focus on core infrastructure, renewable energy, and oil & gas across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the financial modelling process across active deals, driving investment analysis and returns optimization
- Spearhead deal execution end-to-end: managing due diligence workstreams, coordinating advisors, and owning the preparation of investment committee materials
- Develop and maintain proprietary market insight across target sectors, tracking policy developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends
- Take an active role in portfolio management, driving performance monitoring and value creation initiatives across existing assets
- Present and communicate investment theses and portfolio updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders with authority and clarity
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, M&A, or a related asset class; buy-side experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional financial modelling skills with deep expertise in infrastructure cash flow analysis and returns frameworks
- Proven track record of leading complex transactions from origination through close
- Strong familiarity with infrastructure due diligence processes and legal/financial documentation
- Highly commercial mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships with management teams, advisors, and co-investors
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline; top-tier academic background preferred
