Overview:
Our client is a top-tier global infrastructure investment fund with a multi-billion-dollar AUM. The team is expanding its North American Infrastructure Credit business and is seeking a Director to play a key role in underwriting, executing, and managing credit investments across the energy, digital, transport, social, and environmental infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of private credit investments across the infrastructure space, with a focus on Non IG Infra Credit.
- Oversee financial modelling, due diligence, and credit analysis across both new and existing investments.
- Prepare and present investment committee materials, articulating key risk and return considerations.
- Manage transaction processes end-to-end, including coordinating external advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Support ongoing portfolio management activities, including monitoring performance, covenant compliance, and valuation updates.
- Contribute to the development of sector views, origination strategies, and thematic investment approaches.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering analytical and professional growth.
Key Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience coming from another non IG Infrastructure Credit platform ideally from a top-tier bank, infrastructure fun.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, capital structures, and infrastructure asset dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience leading deal execution and managing transaction workstreams.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded individual with strong work ethic.
