Our client a global investment platform is seeking to add an investment professional to its Private Credit team, investing across a flexible mandate spanning unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, holdco financings, and preferred equity. The team operates as generalists, investing across industries and transaction types, with a focus on structuring-driven, risk-adjusted returns in middle-market situations.
The role provides direct exposure to the full investment process, including underwriting, execution, and ongoing portfolio management, working closely with senior investors in a lean team environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite private credit investment opportunities across a range of structures and industries
- Lead diligence workstreams with sponsors, management teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Build and analyze detailed financial models and assess key value drivers, downside scenarios, and capital structures
- Prepare investment materials and contribute to investment committee discussions
- Develop differentiated investment views through fundamental analysis and data-driven research
- Support execution and ongoing monitoring of portfolio investments
Candidate Profile
- 1–4 years of experience in leveraged finance, M&A, Restructuring, Private Credit
- Strong financial modelling and credit underwriting skillset
- Experience analyzing leveraged transactions and complex capital structures preferred
- Clear communicator with strong written and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced investment environment
